Most screening operations can handle the counties that behave. What consumes their margin is the jurisdiction where the index is partial, the clerk changed a requirement, or the record is held somewhere other than the county name suggests.
Hire Well exists to take that work as a specialism rather than an exception — so that the organizations holding the client relationship can keep their promises on the jurisdictions that break other providers.
What we believe about research
A record is only as good as its provenance
A result that cannot say where it came from, by what method, and when, is not a finding. It is an assertion that happens to be formatted like one.
That belief is why method and timestamp travel with every record we return, why a second reviewer sees a result before it is released, and why we would rather publish nothing for a jurisdiction than publish something we cannot stand behind.
How we operate

- Jurisdiction firstThe jurisdiction, not the order, is the unit of work. Each is documented before it is served.
- Method on the recordHow a search was performed is part of the result, because it defines what the result could contain.
- Exceptions reportedClosures, policy changes and stalled requests are surfaced against the order rather than absorbed silently.
